hello, terminal
My old portfolio was fine. It had spotlights, a globe, a bento grid — all the Aceternity greatest hits. It also had nothing on it that was mine.
So I rebuilt it. The new one is a terminal, because:
- it's honest: this is where I spend most of my day.
- it forces constraints: monospace, four colors, no decoration without purpose.
- it leaves room for weirdness: a
/hobbiesdirectory, a/photosroll, a konami code.
The medium should hint at what the person is like. A dev portfolio that looks like a landing page is kind of a lie.

I like data pipelines more than I expected to. I think the hardest part of software is not writing it. I believe most "AI will replace engineers" takes are not aging well.
